A beautiful grey and golden yellow cream British rare breed sheepskin rug. The fleece is soft and fluffy, with longer wispy hair on the surface and very matted wool underneath. In the centre of the rug, there is a golden yellow cream circular patch, where the wool is slightly shorter and woollier - corresponding to the back of the sheep that will have been subject to most of the weather over the year. This rug will look more golden under artificial lighting than in our photos.

 The UK has more sheep breeds than any other country - over 60 and counting - and many more cross breeds and imports. Glencroft British sheepskin rugs are 100% British and entirely by-products of the meat industry - that means they are from British sheep, tanned in a British tannery, and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
